  • Spray Coating

    The Capsudar Range uses precision microencapsulation technology to ensure the ingredient performs at is best in the relevant application process. Produced using spray coating and fluidized bed technology,  coating layers can be adapted by using various methods, depending on active ingredient and final application needs.

Thyroid Health

Our body needs small amounts of iodine to produce thyroid hormones, at the risk of developing a condition called hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism can also result in goiters, or an enlarged thyroid gland.

Iodine is also needed by the thyroid gland to block uptake of radio-active iodine in the case of a radioactive fallout.

Pregnancy

Iodine is important both during pregnancy, and while chest feeding.

One review found that babies whose birth mothers had an iodine deficiency during pregnancy were more likely to grow up with lower IQ’s and other intellectual delays and can also be crucial in brain development period.

Cognitive Health

The same neurological benefits of Iodine during pregnancy may extend to healthy brain function during childhood. This also includes a reduced risk of intellectual disability.
