Deep Dive: FDA to revoke Red No. 3 authorization
January 15th 2025, the FDA announced that they would be revoking their authorizations for Red No. 3 in food and ingested drugs. The Lycored team comments on the situation.

Our proprietary, carotenoid-based colorants are vegetarian-friendly, pH stable, and an excellent alternative to less desirable solutions (like carmine and artificial creations).
